Melbourne East - A Seat at the Table (Servants Community Housing)

Servants Community Housing provides safe, ongoing accommodation for people at risk of homelessness in Melbourne.

We've had the privilege of partnering with Servants for the last few years through facilitating working bees and BBQs at their Hawthorn and Kew houses.

This year, Servants has launched a new campaign to encourage hospitality and greater engagement between residents and local churches. Most residents at Servants cannot remember the last time they were invited into someone else's home. A Seat at the Table is a campaign to encourage 40 invitations from the community to have a resident and Servants staff member over for a meal.
